Advertising Rules
The following rules together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.trendingtravel.co.uk (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘WIN A 5 NIGHT ALL INCLUSIVE HOLIDAY TO THE MALDIVES’ (the “Competition”) which will run from 18:00 27TH March 2024 to 4th April 2024 on TRENDING TRAVEL website ‘the promoter’).
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
This “giveaway*” is a prize draw which offers entrants the opportunity to win:
5 nights at Dwaha Ihuru in the Maldives
All inclusive board basis
Staying in a Beach Front Villa*
Speedboat transfers from MLE airport to Dwaha Ihuru
Return flights from selection of London Airports
Staying in a Beach Front Villa*
Valid for travel in July 2024 and August 2024
Conditions of entry – To participate in this promotion you must satisfy the following:
1.1. You must be aged 18 or over; If you are not, you must have the permission of your parent or guardian to participate in this promotion. By participating, you confirm that you have obtained such permission; applicants over 16 but under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
1.2. You must have an Instagram account that is set to “public”.
1.3. You are not permitted to enter if you are our employee or their direct family member or agent, or if you are otherwise associated with the Prize Draw.
1.4. You must agree to and comply with these terms and conditions; if you do not agree and/or comply you will not be eligible to participate and will be disqualified.
1.5. You can enter the Prize Draw more than once.

Entry period – You can enter the Prize Draw from 27nd March 2024 : 18:00 UK time – closes 23:59 3rd April 2024. (“Entry Period”).
Winner notification – We will contact winner by Instagram direct message within 3 days of competition closing. The winner will be asked to confirm their Instagram handle, full name, age, postal address, email address and telephone number to claim the Prize and provide proof of identity where necessary. We reserve the right to disqualify you from the Prize Draw if you are unable to provide such details. The Prize must be claimed within 7 days of the date of our notification to you. If the Prize is unclaimed after this time we reserve the right to offer the Prize to another winner selected in accordance with these terms. If for any reason the winner chooses not to take up the Prize or any part of the Prize, we reserve the right to ask the winner to confirm this in writing and we will be able to retain or dispose of the Prize (or part of the Prize) at our own discretion.
Announcement of winner – The name and country of residence of the winner will be made available upon request for two months after the Closing Date. Please write to the address below for these details.
Disqualification – We reserve the right to refuse to award the Prize or disqualify an entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise where an entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating in this promotion or won using fraudulent means. Late or incomplete entries which do not satisfy these terms and conditions will be disqualified and not be entered into the Prize Draw.
Changes to the promotion – We reserve the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw at any stage where we deem it necessary and/or there are circumstances outside our reasonable control which affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
Information about you – By entering this Prize Draw you agree that we may hold and use your personal data (including without limitation your Instagram handle, name, date of birth, email address, postal address and telephone number) for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw and for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy, including where necessary, to the transfer of your personal data outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Where you are the winner, you agree we may disclose your name and country of residence to other entrants of this Prize Draw. You also agree that we may use your Image, name, social media handle and other information which identifies you for promotional purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13 do not use or provide any information about yourself including without limitation your name, address, email address or screen name or username you may use. If we learn that we have collected or received personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Social Media – This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. By entering this Prize Draw you agree to release Instagram of any liability caused in respect of this Prize Draw.
Liability – To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude any and all liability for any loss, damage or injury occurring to you or any third party arising from your entry into the promotion or arising from your acceptance and use of the Prize.
Law – These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Promotion administrator – This Prize Draw is administered by Trending Travel LTD.
Holiday Prize Terms and Conditions
All entries must be received by 23:59 on the 3rd April 2024.
The winner will be contacted no later than 3 days after the closing date of the prize selection. Every attempt will be made to contact winner; however the promoter reserves the right to choose another winner if contact and/or acknowledgement of win is unsuccessful for a period of 3 or more working days after winner is announced. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, chosen in accordance with these terms and conditions.
There is one winner between all posts, across all accounts and will be randomly selected and contacted via DM.
The prize as described is available on the date of publication. Should the prize become unavailable, a substitute of equal value shall be provided.
All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
Prize holiday details:
5 nights at Dwaha Ihuru resort in the Maldives staying in a Beachfront Villa on an all inclusive board basis.
Return Speedboat transfer from MLE airport to the resort.
Flights included. Selected departure points, subject to availability will include, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton. Prior reservation is required by the bearer and booking is subject to availability
There will be £100 per person regional supplement if outside of London departure.
Booking must be made by 31st May 2024.
This excludes public holidays, the easter period and local religious holidays and is subject to promotional availability.
Additional charges will apply for any food, beverages or services.
This prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offers or promotions and is not refundable nor exchangeable in cash or any other services.
Entrants’ data will be used for the purpose of administration of this prize competition and in accordance with the permissions granted or withheld at the point of entry. Entrants also agree to share their customer profiles and contact information with Trending Travel Ltd
Events may occur that render the competition of awarding the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at Trending Travel absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
The winner must agree to the Trending Travel Ltd standard booking terms and conditions.
The prize and dates are subject to flight and hotel availability at the time of request and may only be taken during the time frames specified in the individual prize terms. Please note, the prize is limited on the flights and may be unavailable even if there is general availability on a particular flight.
The prize is subject to the Trending Travel Ltd general terms and conditions which can be found at www.trendingtravel.co.uk terms-and conditions. In the event of any conflict, these Holiday Prize Draw Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.
Any optional purchases or supplements are extra and are subject to the standard Trending Travel Ltd terms and conditions and any applicable charges must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party.
The prize duration cannot be extended unless agreed by Trending Travel, and the hotel and/or room type will not be changed by the winner. Any additional passengers booked will be charged at normal rates for additional flights and rooms. Please note, once you have made a booking you cannot amend the travel dates.
The prize does not include travel between the winner’s home and airport , personal expenditure or incidental costs, other than where mentioned. The prize does not include petrol or parking. It is the responsibility of the prize-winner and guest to ensure that they have a valid passport, health insurance and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip. Visa must be submitted 6 weeks ahead of departure and any failure to do so, or if the visa is being refused, no compensation can be given.
Covid 19 – Should your prize be disrupted by Covid-19 Trending Travel will make best endeavours to rearrange and rebook the winner at a different time. This will be subject to availability, government and FCO advice and regulation.
Trending Travel Ltd will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to the prize draw or the prizes, or for any loss or damage. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Trending Travel Ltd in relation to personal injury or death caused by Trending Travel Ltd negligence or for fraud.
Trending Travel retain the right to repurpose all social media content generated on the prize for the use on all trending travel social media channels and www.trendingtravel.co.uk .
These terms are subject to English Law and by submitting an entry, Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
Trending Travel Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize their absolute discretion.
Entrants’ details will be used to administer the competition. When entering the competition, entrants will be invited to opt in to receiving marketing from Trending Travel Ltd. If entrants choose to opt in, their details will be retained by Trending Travel Ltd for the purposes of marketing (which may include activities such as passing on information about deals, offers and promotion codes from Trending Travel Ltd). Details will be used in accordance with the Trending Travel Ltd privacy policy (see https://www.TrendingTravel.co.uk/privacy-policy ).
